Readers of the German motoring magazine “sport auto” have chosen the Bugatti Chiron1as the best super sports car from another country. The new 1,500 PS model from Molsheim in France won the award in the category of imported production super sports cars. With almost 20 percent of the votes cast, the Chiron took the award against nine competitors.

OCT. 14, 2016, MOLSHEIM/STUTTGART The readers’ poll for the “sport auto AWARD” took place for the 24th time this year. Readers were asked to vote for the most sporting production and tuned vehicles of the year. All in all, the candidates included 235 models in 40 categories. Almost 17,000 readers took part.

The Chiron made its world debut at the 86th International Motor Show in Geneva this March. With a power output of 1,500 PS, unprecedented for a production vehicle, legendary torque of 1,600 Nm at 2,000 to 6,000 rpm and a large number of technical innovations, the  Chiron sets new standards in every respect. The Chiron has positioned itself as a future world record breaker with a maximum speed significantly higher than the record currently held by Bugatti. The world’s most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car is to be produced at the company’s headquarters in Molsheim. Series production is due to start this autumn and is to be limited to 500 cars. Currently, more than 200 advance orders have been received. The first vehicles are due to be delivered to customers in the first quarter of 2017.
