Hyundai’s New Concepts At SEMA 2016

Hyundai plans on showcasing several new concepts at the 2016 SEMA. Among their intended displays, two caught our eye, the race-ready Veloster concept and the road racer Elantra concept.

For their race-ready Veloster, Hyundai teamed up with Gurnade Inc. to create this aggressive, powerful beast. Aesthetically, the fuchsia Veloster has dramatic integrated flares, front splitter, racing canards, and a custom rear spoiler. Inside, Glowshift gauges and LEDGlow lighting detail the cockpit while a Phoenix Gold subwoofer and amplifier with Stinger audio system wiring keep the bass pumping. Engine modifications include 845 Motorsports intercooler, downpipe and cold-air intake, 845 Motorsports ECU tune, Synapse blow-off valve, and an ARK Performance cat-back exhaust.

In addition to using ARK performance parts in the Veloster, Hyundai also collaborated with ARK Performance to create the road racer Elantra. Going for a sleeker, sportier look, the Elantra concept boasts integrated flares, distended racing wheels, custom front and rear fascia designs. This formidable contender has a custom ARK turbo kit with a Xcargot XT26 turbocharger, ARK downpipe and GRiP exhaust system, and a turbosmart blow-off valve and wastegate.
