The New Lotus Evora Sport 410 Unveiled

After months of development, Lotus has finally unveiled the new Evora Sport 410.  Avowed to be lighter, more powerful, and more aerodynamic, the new Evora Sport 410 is composed almost entirely of hand-crafted carbon fiber.  By covering the Evora Sport 410 from nose to tail in carbon fiber, the design team was able to shed more than 154 lbs from the total [dry] bodyweight.  The redesigned body now produces up to 141 lbs of downforce and slightly lowered drag, while a lowered center of gravity and a recalibrated suspension system improve handling.

Using a high-output, supercharged, 3.5 liter, 6 cylinder engine, the Evora Sport 410 produces 410 hp and 302 lb-ft of torque, propelling it from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 190 mph.  A low-inertia flywheel, 6 speed manual transmission and Torsen-type limited slip differential offers better traction as the Evora Sport 410 glides on ultra-lightweight forged aluminum wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.  It also features Lotus’s Dynamic Performance Management, a dashboard switch that allows drivers to select “Sport” and “Race” settings, activating the variable-pressure exhaust system for a sharper performance.
