Industry innovation leader Tesla Motors asserts that their Model S P100D with Ludicrous mode is now the quickest production car in the world (yes, the world).  Although its ability to reach 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds placed the Model S P100D in third for fastest accelerating production car ever produced, Tesla’s two challengers, the LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder, are no longer in production and cannot be purchased new.  Besides having great pick-up, the electric-powered, 4-wheel drive Model S P100D features a 100 kWh battery that has an increased range of approximately 315 miles, making Tesla the first to surpass a 300 mile range.  With ample cargo capacity, seating, increased mileage, and access to Tesla Supercharger stations, Tesla continues to usher in a new era of autos.
