2015 BMW M3 / M4

BMWs have always driven like they’re riding on rails with suspensions that provide excellent feedback without being harsh. The 2015 BMW M3 and M4s continue this tradition of driver focused cars that feel just as at home on the race track as they do on the street.

With either two doors on the BMW M4 or four on the M3, the performance and feedback are nearly identical.

Both the BMW M3 and M4 exteriors have mean looks and aggressive lines that let you know something wicked lies within. The hood bulge, fender flares, unique sporty mirrors, chrome side vents, and quad exhaust tips are capped by equally muscular front and rear fascia.

The cockpits are simple with a sporty and luxurious feel. The bolstered front seats are supportive and comfortable to hold you tight during spirited drives. And don’t hesitate to bring three friends with you, because the back seats are cozy and provide enough leg room for two six foot tall adults.

By combining a new level of torque with brakes and perfect balance, you end up racing down straightaways with the confidence to go deep before turns. But getting on the power at exit doesn’t have the direct connection between my right foot and all those ponies under the hood as I would have expected in the dual clutch gear box.

This is a car that can be loads of fun as a powerful and sporty daily driver and have the ability to hit the track for some very spirited runs. The numbers prove it to be a great car. And it is, but without the adrenaline rush I was anticipating.
