Audi’s Redesigned 2018 A5 And S5 Models
2017 is around the corner and that can only mean one thing, the 2018 models are coming out! Today Audi announced their 2018 A5 and S5 model lineup. Combining elegance and power, the 2018 models feature a redesigned exterior with sharper, redesigned lines, and a more dramatic shape. A wider, flatter grille sits in between Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights, while wave-design shoulder line and pronounced wheel arches house polished, high-performance wheels.
Inside, the 2018 models offer three-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ambient LED lighting, and power seats. From a technology standpoint, Audi has included an upgraded infotainment center, including a 12.3-inch display, a full-color projection to display relevant driving information directly in the driver’s field of vision, Audi connect, driver assistance, and much more.
Peeking under the hood, the 2018 models range from a 2.0-liter TFSI® four-cylinder engine, all the way to a 3.0 TFSI V6 engine. Horsepower and torque range from 252 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque to an impressive 354 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, allowing the models to reach 0-60 mph in 4.4-5.7 seconds. 2018 models come with six-speed manual transmission, seven-speed S tronic® dual-clutch automatic transmission, or eight-speed Tiptronic® automatic transmission, and are available in all-wheel drive.
